Human Factors and Ergonomics

Approved Courses

Students pursuing Master of Science or Doctoral degrees in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Graduate Program are required to take courses in Human Factors Fundamentals, Cognitive Human Factors, Physical Human Factors, and research methods courses in Statistics and Experimental Design.  Training in Research Ethics is also required.


Students pursuing the Minor discuss appropriate courses with their advisers and the Director of Graduate Studies for Human Factors and Ergonomics.


Download a list of approved courses, including the number of credits, the requirement they fulfill, and the frequency they are offered.


Courses not on the approved list must be approved by the Director of Graduate Studies before registration.
